As research and extension professionals within the Land-grant University system, we are expected to disseminate knowledge, through active teaching of undergraduate and graduate students and through our extension (continuing education) programs.
However, as part of our job responsibilities, we are also expected to develop, fund and manage research programs on a continuous basis, by writing grants. As you can imagine, our lives are interesting and ever-changing, but incredibly rewarding!
Here you will find links to our active research programs, by State. As you will see, many of these projects are not only interdisciplinary, but also reach out across State and sometimes even National boundaries, as we seek to form teams that provide the skills necessary to tackle some of these complex research problems.
